Children's Church
Children are a priority at the Alvin Church of God. We have renovated our former parsonage into a jungle themed children's center called God's Reign Forest. We hope that ever child will let God rule their heart and life through this wonderful ministry. Every Sunday morning during our regular church service we minister to our kids with games, snacks, puppets, singing, crafts, and age appropriate Bible lessons. Every Sunday evening we are open from 5 PM to 8 PM. We also participate each summer in a summer camp program for ages 7-12 and Vacation Bible School.
Our Children's Church is led by a team of terrific teachers. Martha Hunt is the head of our Sunday morning children's church working with Latina Hunt, Eric Phillips, and Janice Phillips.
Our Sunday evening Children's Church is led by Penny Bryant and Tammy Jones.
In addition to Children's Church, every Sunday morning we minister to the youngest in our church with a full service nursery just off the main sanctuary of the church. The nursery is for infants and toddlers and is run by Debbie Riggs.
