Tidal Wave
Tidal Wave is a cutting edge church and hang out for students between the ages of 10-18. Pool tables, air hockey, carpet ball, video games, food, and a caged in basketball court all make Tidal Wave the place to be. But the one thing that makes Tidal Wave different is God. Students from all over north Vermilion county are finding out that God is real at Tidal Wave. We open every Sunday night at 5 PM. We have a worship service for pre-teens ages 8-11 starting at 5:30 PM, and a worship service for teenagers ages 12-18 that starts at 6:15 PM. We are located right next to the Post Office on Chicago Street in Alvin and have bus service on Sunday nights to the Potomac areas. Additional areas will be added as the need arises. We also participate in special activities each year for our teens. Every March we attend Winterfest, a regional youth rally with top notch speakers and bands held in Cincinatti OH. Each summer we have a summer youth camp for ages 13-18 where teens from all over Illinois come to have fun and get closer to God.
