Staff and Leadership
Pastor David Routien and his wife Michele have served as our pastor since May 2004. Pastor Routien is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He has been in the ministry since 1996 serving as associate/youth pastor in Bourbonnais, IL and senior pastor in Moline, IL and now Alvin, IL. Pastor Dave is a member of the Illinois Church of God State Youth and Christian Education Board for the 2004-2006 term. Pastor Dave leads with a vision for individual spiritual growth and revival in our church, community, and nation.
Pastor Dave and Michele have been married since May 27, 1995. They had a daughter, Michaya, who was born February 14, 2006 and died March 1, 2006; and have a newborn daughter, Abigail Rose, born November 13, 2007.
Pastor Dan Hunt and his wife Kim have served as our youth pastor since 2003. Pastor Dan is an Exhorter in the Church of God and heads up our Tidal Wave youth center. Pastor Dan's has a passion to see teenagers fully surrender their lives to God and become leaders in their generation. Pastor Dan and Kim have been married 12 years. They have two sons, Seth, 18, and Christian, 10, as well as a daughter Madisyn, 7.
